Monday!! Thyroid- Pain

It's Monday and I survived the weekend. The weekend wasn't to bad. I got together with a friend I haven't seen in awhile. It was nice to do that and we had a good time. I had pain over the next few nights in my legs mostly. It's difficult to sleep when this happens. My hand has gone down and now the pain is real dull in my wrist bone. So the predisone helped the swelling go down. What a relief!!!

Now, I tried to call and set up a appointment with the rheumatologist. Guess when I can get a appointment. Not until January!! What the hell is that about. Well I went ahead and made the appointment at least. I will just have to back to the primary and insist they try and give me something.
This is a real emotional roller hell right now.

Im trying to keep a positive outlook and push myself everyday. Even though Im in pain and my legs, arms and hands get stiff. I continue to try and get through this. Now that they say it is arithitis I think Im going to have to have some other test done. Im not so sure about this. But maybe some xray. You have to ask lots of questions because sometimes the doctors just don't tell you things. I don't know why that is.

I asked about my blood work friday and I had to see the nurse practioner. Who are these people? If they don't know what they are doing then why do we have to see them, when the doctor is unavailable. Well she looked at my chart and told me about the arithritis. She then looked at my hands and at the same time she asked me if I had bumped my hand on something.

Wait a minute lady. This has been going on for weeks! Did you not look at my chart? Did you not just tell me what I had?.. Are they crazy? Or are they trying to make me crazy?. I was so done with her. I waited and got my scripts and referrals. Now I have two other appointments this week and I didnt have to wait months for. You know Woman stuff appointments. Thank God I didn't have to wait for them.

In the meantime people I'm trying. So I hope you are trying too! Keep your head up and try to stay positive. I know how hard it is when your in PAIN!
