Could you stay married to someone .....

Could you stay married to someone, that you know has cheated on you? This person has broken the vows, that were supposed to be sacred, between two people who love one another. If this person ,not only cheated on you, but you never found out until years later. Then you found out, that they had been keeping this affair secret for years. Now hold on, this is the clincher! You find out they have children with this other person.  Would you stay in the marriage, because you have children with this idiot. Or would you try to find some way to get out of it.  This was a topic we were discussing at work today. Sorry to say, but this is someones life. The sad part about this situation is, the person  felt scared to leave. This is a abusive and cruel way to live. People, like this, feel there is not another way out. What would you do?
