I went to Maryland this week and spent some time with my family. I had the greatest flight over there and it was really a great flight. You know that they are hard to come by. Since most of the time traveling by plane, can come with a lot of confusion in the airport. I can say that this time I didn't have any problems. I drove from the airport and was able to remember the roads and streets. It's funny how things stick in your mind. I haven't been home in three years and I can't explain why. I think maybe I just put it off and being busy working I put it off for another time. My family has been down here twice to see me and we had a very nice time when they did visit.
Ok, back to my visit.. hmmm... I drove through some towns and I was pleasantly surprised that the housing boom has slowed down. I was expecting more urban sprawl in some of the towns that I went through. In Germantown, where my family lives and where I was raised as a young girl. There has been significant development and although I like change. I miss the old rural farms and the way things used to be. Well its not that way anymore and everything is very busy. There are more stores, restaurants, and a new library. There has been a great deal of changes going on. The trees, are one thing that I really did admire, and how beautiful they were with all of the different colors. Wow!
I didn't enjoy the cold brrrr.. and it rained on the second day I was there. It was just cold and damp. yuck! I really missed Tampa on those cold days. I thought I wouln't miss florida that much. I complain about living down here at times, and I was surprised that I missed my Tampa. lol Also things were higher and I noticed that when buying out over there. The prices of things were higher than Tampa. I will have to take more money next time. ha ha. Hey they had no deals at McDonalds. Can you believe that? None, zero, non. I couldn't believe that. Not that I live for McDonalds or anything like that. It's just good to know that we do have the deals here in Tampa. That is about it for now. I enjoyed my trip to Maryland and I had a good time. But now I'm back home and I'm so happy to be here! I love it here in Tampa.
