Don't Fight In Ya Hood

No, No and No!, fighting in ya Hood! A few days ago, I was enjoying the beautiful sounds of music coming from one of my neighbor's yard. Now mind you, some of it can be turned down a little, but for the the most part I enjoyed the sounds of Michael Jackson and some of the other artist. Things were going along smoothly and I was enjoying my day lounging about in the comfort of my home. My neighborhood is relatively quiet and that is how I like. We have a few families with children and yet it is still quiet. This is a small complex that is surrounded by trees and plants. We even have ducks here that roam around the parking lots and will come visit you on your patio. (smile)

Well later in the evening the music stopped and I thought I would venture out to the store. I went to get in my car and I could here a loud commotion in my neighbor's yard. It was apparent that someone was arguing and this was not good. I thought it would stop and they would go home. This did not happen at all. I returned from the store to find that the argument was still going on and now it was going to get physical. The next thing I knew my neighbor was in his boxers, bare chested and socks on. Oh no he didn't..

Now... this was not going to be pretty. I always thought this guy to be very mild mannered. This is how he always appears to me when I see him in the community. Lets just say people do change when they have a few drinks. Why do people have such bad behavior when they drink? It always gets out of control when someone says or does the wrong thing. These two men decided it was worth fighting over. It's not! It's not right to do it in front of your family, your children and your neighbor's. Go in your house and shut the door! Tell the other dumb idiot that you will talk to him about it tomorrow. Most likely, you probably won't remember it and it will be over. Someone will come to you, the next day and tell you that you acted like a jerk. Then you will feel really bad that you were a dumb ass.

The whole thing will be over and the two people can be grown ups again. Well it didn't end like that. The cops were called and a whole lot of drama occurred. With wives crying, people yelling and cursing. All for what I ask.... Because someone said something wrong.. that was the whole thing in a nutshell. And it involved two nuts, completely acting a fool... ok. People grow up and stop acting like children. Leave fighting to the who get paid to knock each other around. This is not a game out here. The result could have been a lot worse then it was. Control your anger and think before you react to things. Do better for yourself and your neighborhood.
Do unto to others and behave out here. Stay cool and live in peace. That's all I'm saying.
