Guns

What would it take for you to purchase a firearm? Have you considered purchasing one or do you already own one? Do you think that having a gun in your home will protect you? At what lengths will you go to protect yourself and your family. I have been wondering about this from time to time.  I just recently read on a blog I follow about purchasing a gun. I have grown up around them from Uncles having them for hunting, to my own dad having them. I have held them and shot them. I really feel that they make me very nervous when in untrained hands. At the same time, while they make me nervous. If necessary, I would use it to defend myself. However, I dont intend to go out and buy one.  My sister was marksman in the Air Force, but she doesnt own a gun either. This is alot of power in your hands and  you need to know what you are doing. What if something tragic happened. Could you accept what you have done? This is a major major decision to have a firearm in your home. Give it great deal of thought before you put one in your home. Thats all Im saying.
