My daughter found this stray cat. Well maybe it was the other way around. He is a all black male with just a bit of attitude. Ok, a whole heap of attitude. He loves to roam the neighborhoods. He is a outside cat. Now we have tried to bring him inside the house. But he prefers it outside, so that he can do his own thing. I normally feed him in the morning when he comes around for his morning feeding. I can hear him at the door, giving me his signal that he is back home. I don't mind that he likes to venture out. That is where we found him first. I do however feel that one day he is going to get run over by a car. So far this hasn't happened to him. I seen him one day coming across the street from some apartments. I was behind a few cars, that had stopped to let him cross the street. I kinda laugh to myself, and thought it was pretty cool, of Ninja Man to stop the traffic like that. He needs to be careful when he is doing that. I let him know on more than one occasion that its dangerous to stop traffic. Because some people might be in a hurry, and they might not stop. He gave me a weird look before scampering off to some destination.
The other thing about Ninja Man is, he can find his way back home. He has done this since we moved to this new place. Is that weird or what.. If he sees me pull up in the car. He will come running just like a dog. I have seen him coming across fences to get to me. He chases squirrels in the trees, by balancing himself on the tree limbs. He catches them and brings them home. This part is disgusting. I have given him several talks on this subject. Although I make my speeches to him on these incidents. He doesnt seem to regard them much. He just rubs up against me to snuggle or get a hug. What a suck up he is. lol.
Now he has gotten himself in a bit of trouble. A neighbor has decided that she is Ninja Man's owner. Now I know differently, since I had him for two years now. Well she takes him in her house and won't let him out. He was gone for a few days, when another neighbor reported his whereabouts. I'm not worried about it at all. This is a young girl that has become attached to him. He is being well cared for by her. I know he must go crazy when she locks him in. But that is what he gets for being greedy. He loves to eat all the time. If he didnt run around he would be fat like Garfield. ha ha. Well he came home the other day, and I told him that, it was his own fault, what he got himself into. I think he kinda smiled at me after eating all his food. He left for his new girl. He'll be back again. he knows who his mama is...
